Having always worked in multidisciplinary clinics he enjoys collaborating with his colleges on the best course of action for his clients. Jim has extensive training in myofacial release and fascial restructuring having completed all courses in MIPA as a Myofascial Integrative and Postural Alignment Practioner. He’s also had advanced training in scar work, shoulder, neck and low back dysfunctions and for running athletes. Jim has become adept over the course of his career at discovering the source of client ailments. His motto is ‘figuring out the problem is half the battle’. He then charts a course to realign the less than optima areas. This results in better movement and overall function for his clients. Often times he finds his clients have been living with discomforts that they thought would be permanent! Having been in 2 car accidents, with longer term concussion symptoms, Jim has experienced the long road to recovery. This has informed his understanding of clients living with chronic pain, recovering from severe injuries and surgeries, systemic issues like autoimmune and fibromyalgia, concussions and old traumas that didn’t heal properly. He’s regularly worked with people with overuse and athletic injuries, cancers, TMJ and workplace related aches over the years. Outside of work Jim tries his best to keep up with his two teenage children. With any left over free time his latest focus is to get outside everyday in nature and be physically active. With the goal of reaching peak physical performance, increasing energy levels and improving overall wellness, as he navigates and maximizes all that the middle age stage of life has to offer.
